What is Noya?

Ask Noya is Finoya's AI CFO. It lets you have a conversation with your own financial data. Instead of reading a dashboard and trying to work out what a number means for your business, you can just ask.

You might type: "Why did my cash flow score drop this week?" or "Which invoices are most at risk of not being paid?" or "What happens to my runway if I hire someone next month?" Noya reads your financial data and gives you a specific, contextual answer based on what is actually happening in your business.

Every page in Finoya has a Noya Says panel on the right side of the screen. This is Noya proactively surfacing what it thinks is most important about the data on that page, without you having to ask. Below the panel there is also a set of Quick Actions, five suggested questions you can click to go deeper. These are dynamically generated from your data, not generic questions.

When you want to go further than the Quick Actions, the Ask Noya button opens the full chat interface where you can type any question you like.

Where to find Ask Noya

You can access Ask Noya in two ways:

β€’ From any dashboard page: click the Ask Noya button at the bottom of the Noya Says panel on the right side of the screen. Noya opens with the context of the page you were on already loaded.

β€’ From the left navigation menu: click Ask Noya directly. This opens the chat without any page-specific context pre-loaded.

Tip

When you open Ask Noya from a specific page, that page context becomes the starting point for the conversation. For example, opening from the Bills page means Noya already knows you are asking about bills and payables. This usually gives you more relevant answers than opening Ask Noya from the navigation and then describing what you want to ask about.

How Noya generates its answers

When you ask Noya a question, it draws on the calculated financial data Finoya has stored for your account. This includes your cash flow health score, your forecast numbers, your invoice and bill totals, your key ratios, and your sales performance data. These are the same numbers you see on your dashboard screens.

Noya does not have access to the internet, live market data, or information about any business other than your own. It works only with your data.

Noya is currently in beta. It continues to learn and improve. If you receive an answer that seems inaccurate or does not match what you see in your accounting software, use the feedback option in the chat and let the support team know. This directly helps improve Noya's accuracy.

Important

Noya AI is currently in beta and learning. Answers are based on your synced financial data and may not reflect the very latest position in your accounting software if a sync has not run recently. Always cross-reference significant decisions with your accountant.

Ask Noya vs Ask Noya Premium

There are two versions of the Ask Noya assistant:

β€’ Ask Noya: available to all users including SME owners and accountants. Works from calculated dashboard data.

β€’ Ask Noya Premium: available to accountants only. Works directly from raw transaction-level data, enabling deeper analysis.

Your chat history

Every conversation you have with Ask Noya is saved. You can access your full chat history at any time by clicking the Conversations button in the top right corner of the Ask Noya screen.

If you are an SME owner connected to an accountant through a Finoya invite code, your accountant can see your full Ask Noya chat history as part of their access to your account.
