Deleting your Finoya account

If you want to permanently delete your Finoya account, you can initiate this from the My Account screen. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Read this article fully before proceeding.

What happens when you delete your account

• Your Finoya account and all associated data is permanently removed

• Your financial data held in Finoya is deleted, including your synced accounting data, your Cash Flow Health history, your forecasts, and your Ask Noya conversation history

• Your subscription is cancelled immediately with no further charges

• Your accounting software is not affected. Finoya's connection to your accounting software is revoked but your accounting software data remains intact

• If you are connected to an accountant, the connection is removed and your accountant can no longer see your Finoya data

Watch out

Account deletion cannot be reversed. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

If you are considering deleting your account because of a billing issue, a connection problem, or dissatisfaction with a specific feature, contact support first. These issues can often be resolved without losing your account and data.

Before you delete

Consider whether you need to:

• Export any data or reports from Finoya before deleting. Once deleted, this data is gone.

• Cancel your subscription separately if you have an annual plan and want to request a refund for the unused period. Contact support to discuss this before deleting.

• Notify your accountant if they are connected to your account, so they are aware the connection will be removed.

How to delete your account

1. Click your name in the top right corner of any Finoya screen.

2. Select My Account.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the business profile section.

4. Click the Delete Account button.

5. You will be asked to confirm the deletion. Read the confirmation carefully.

6. Confirm to proceed. Your account will be deleted immediately.

Note

If the Delete Account button is not visible, contact support. Some account configurations require support-assisted deletion, for example accounts with active accountant connections or accounts with billing disputes in progress.

After deletion

You will be logged out immediately after deletion is confirmed. You will not be able to log back in as the account no longer exists.

If you change your mind and want to use Finoya in the future, you can sign up for a new account. However, your previous data will not be recoverable. You will start fresh with a new connection to your accounting software.
