Noya's Financial Recommendations

Updated over 3 weeks ago

The Recommendations screen is where Noya consolidates all of its analysis across your financial data into a single prioritised view. Rather than reading the Noya Says panel on each individual screen, the Recommendations screen brings the most important insights together in one place and organises them by category and urgency.

What the Recommendations screen shows

The screen is headed Noya's Financial Recommendations with the subtitle: Personalised, real-time insights based on your latest financial data.

Below the header, recommendations are grouped into six categories:

Urgent Actions: the highest-priority items that require your attention immediately. These are time-sensitive risks across any part of your financial position.

Cash Flow: recommendations specific to your cash flow position, including runway, burn rate, and liquidity risks.

Expenses: observations and recommendations about your spending patterns, including concentration risk and unusual movements.

Revenue Trends: analysis of your sales trajectory, forecast variance, and growth or decline signals.

Profitability: observations about your gross profit, operating profit, and margin trends.

Receivables and Payables: recommendations about your outstanding invoices and bills, including overdue balances and collection priorities.

How often recommendations update

Recommendations update every time your data syncs with your accounting software, which happens weekly. The analysis reflects your position as of the last sync date, shown in the top bar of every Finoya screen.

If you have taken action on a recommendation, such as collecting an overdue invoice or paying an overdue bill, that change will be reflected in the next sync cycle.

Note

Recommendations are generated from your actual financial data and change as your data changes. A recommendation that appeared last week may no longer be relevant this week if you have already addressed the underlying issue.

Using Recommendations alongside Ask Noya

The Recommendations screen gives you the what: the issues and priorities. Ask Noya gives you the how: the ability to interrogate each recommendation, model different responses, and get specific answers about your financial data.

If a recommendation in the Urgent Actions or Cash Flow category concerns you, click Ask Noya in the navigation to continue the conversation with full access to your transaction-level data.
